I have provided a link with much informative information regarding this case. This is why I am starting this petition. Marissa Presnells rights have been completely stripped from her. This once vibrant and intelligent young lady has yet to recieve the justice Marissa and her family truly deserves. Mr. Cory Speelman has had prior convivtions in reference to driving under the influence. Mr. Speelman has stated "He did not think he had a problem." This is clearly a problem and it has now cost the life of a beautiful young lady and the spirit and has taken the soul of this beauties Mother and family. Cory Speelman should not only be immediately placed into custody he should not be able to post bond at any time during his 5 year prison term. He has clearly not learned a lesson and I truly believe he feels absolutely zero remorse for the pain and suffering he has caused this family. This petetion being signed should not only dignify the rights for others but also should prove that Justice has not served this family but instead has failed to prove that people can look up to our judicial system for help rectifying matters in the moments of tragedy. I am asking you Judge Myron duhart and Mayor Paula Hicks Hudson to help do whats right here and end some of the pain and suffering this has caused this family, by overturning the ruling Mr. Speelman remain on bond during his appeal and that he starts his Prison term as soon as tomorrow. Do not wait another day as this family has had to wait 15 long grueling months to hear such a devastating ruling. Please hear this families cries and Do what is morally Right. Please friends and family share this and lets get these signatures today!
