Urge our Utah Legislature to Allow for Darker Tint

  • by: Ken Reimann
  • recipient: Utah Governor Gary Herbert, Utah Senate, Utah House, Utah

Stand up for our freedoms and stop with the unjust tint tickets! Demand our Utah Legislature to represent the people and allow for darker tinted windows by decreasing how much light must go through a driver's front window from 43 percent to 28 percent and allow tinted tail lights. 33 states have darker tint laws including all of Utah's neighboring states and it's time for Utah to do the same! In a day where our privacy is under attacked every day, darker tint will allow us to gain it back in our own personal cars! No longer will women have to deal with the daily harassment of men with their uncomfortable stares through their light tint. Stop with the lies that tint laws slows down violence on police when there's absolutely no evidence of it and instead helps us avoid the possibility of skin cancer by decreasing the amount of UV our body absorbs through darker tint! Let our voices be heard that we want our Utah Legislature to represent the people and give us freedom to be able to apply darker tint, increase our privacy, and decrease our chances of skin cancer!
