Military Brats Rights

The policies and regulations of the United States Department of Defense, concerning the children of our brave soldiers, are not only inadequate but are not uniformly enforced.

We strive to bring legislation before the United States Congress that would provide the children of our soldiers with comparable rights already assured to all children of the United States civilian population.

Will you please help the children of our brave soldiers by signing our petition now?

We the undersigned urge the United States Congress to pass legislation that will provide the children of our armed forces personnel with the same rights and protections already guaranteed to all the children of the United States civilian population.

The children of our armed forces personnel, also endearingly referred to as U.S. Military Brats, are in dire need for these protections. As it stands now the resources for these children, when in need for protection, are as good as nonexistent.

What makes this situation urgent is that these children are for years stationed in foreign Countries with no protection provided by the Department of Defense, or the United States government. Even when stationed on American soil these children tend to fall through the cracks of the Department of Defense.

The United States Military Brat is not enlisted personnel, but rather a civilian and as such should be given the same rights and protections as any other child living in the United States.

Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. You consideration in this urgent matter is truely appreciated.
