Demand Removal of 5G towers

My family and feel very upset and concerned that a 5G tower was installed on our property. We have one right in our driveway and just recently discovered what it was and that it’s causing health issues in our home. I’ve contacted the city and apparently Verizon didn’t have to file new permits to install or hold an environmental impact study. They were able to use old permits from 2015 approved by our city council. This device is within 20 feet of our home and no one notified us, asked permission, or anything. There are even some near the schools. Other states and cities are removing them and banning them due to serious health concerns. I’m frustrated with the city for allowing these to be installed near residences and schools especially without doing independent research and notifying residents. The city told me there wasn’t any zoning restrictions set either. New Hampshire just passed a bill to protect its residents, we should do the same here in Massachusetts. I’ve contacted my city, local officials, and our Governor and plan on attending my city council meeting. There needs to be more conclusive studies done on the impact of these devices both short and long term exposure effects. There should be environmental impact studies done, public forums for residents and an option to decline installation. If anyone is willing to sign my petition to demand remova until more information is available I would greatly appreciate it. As a resident this is extremely concerning, who is making these decisions? As a parent, it’s my duty to protect my children and I can’t do that with the city and Verizon imposing their corporate greed on my rights.
