Fight Chronic Diseases Around the World

When you think about humanitarian medical needs around the world, you may not think of diabetes, obesity or heart disease. But in fact, these non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are among the largest and most deadly health problems facing developing nations. For example, in India, one in eight people have diabetes or are at risk of developing the disease.

Recently, the UN held its first High Level Meeting on NCDs. The international community is starting to notice that NCDs are a huge problem. Project HOPE has been addressing NCDs for more than two decades. Health education can make a long-term impact on a nation's health needs, and countries like India, South Africa and Mexico need our help.

Pledge to support Project HOPE's work to prevent diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other NCDs around the globe with prevention programs, diagnostic services and disease management programs. Then spread the word about chronic disease prevention.
