One in 20 children in the UK will experience sexual abuse.
Children who have been sexually exploited have been through unimaginable trauma. Without access to the right therapeutic support they may never recover from the abuse. However, currently only 1 in 10 healthcare trusts makes it a priority that children who have been sexually exploited receive mental health support.
This is not good enough.
Join The Children's Society and together we can demand that the government offer all children who have been sexually exploited the mental health support they need before they reach crisis point.
