Stop Moreland Council from ripping up our bluestone laneways and replacing them with concrete.

We are a group of Brunswick residents concerned about the imminent destruction of our beautiful bluestone laneway. Council wants to rip the bluestone up and replace it with concrete! They want to repeat this all over Brunswick! Help us save our laneways.

Many residents dispute the need for the works and are greatly concerned about Moreland's Councils policies regarding bluestone laneways.

Brunswick's bluestone laneways are a vital part of the character and heritage of our local community. If we don't act now an important part of our history will soon be lost forever.

Moreland Council's new "Rights of Way Strategy" will see bluestone laneways that aren't located in heritage overlay areas (the vast majority of Moreland's laneways) replaced with concrete.
