Demand the US speak up for Sudan
Since violence erupted in 2023, Sudan has spiraled into chaos. Two years of civil war have forced more than 12 million people from their homes. More than half the country is facing food insecurity, creating what the United Nations calls the world's largest humanitarian crisis.
And now, alarming news reports point to a genocide unfolding with video and social media posts depicting the mass killing of innocent civilians.
Despite the escalating campaign of violence, the US and the rest of the international community have stayed largely silent. That silence must end now.
