Tell Your Elected Officials: Help North Carolinians Get the Care They Need

Healthcare costs are at record highs in North Carolina, forcing too many patients to choose between quality treatment and basic needs like feeding their families.

Communities of color often face the worst of this reality, where quality health care is often out of reach because of insurance-mandated barriers and a lack of treatment options.

Patients, especially those with chronic conditions, simply can't afford to jump through hoops to get their medications or even lose access to them all together.

On May 16, the North Carolina State Legislature will begin its next session. This is your opportunity to send a message to our elected officials that it's time for commonsense, patient-focused policies in our state.

Sign the petition and tell our elected officials that North Carolinians shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get quality care. Take action before May 16th and we'll deliver your message to your legislator on the first day of the legislative session.
Dear [Legislator],

Too many North Carolinians, particularly in communities of color, face unnecessary, burdensome barriers to the medical care they need. Unfair insurance practices make it needlessly difficult for North Carolinians to get the care their doctor prescribes. Patients, especially those with chronic conditions, simply can't afford to jump through hoops to get their medications or even lose access to them all together.

With North Carolina's legislative cycle beginning on May 16th, I urge you to take action by enacting commonsense policies that break down barriers and ensure equal and equitable access to quality, affordable health care.
