A SAFE HAVEN FOR ALL ANIMALS!
Do you love animals? Your pet? If your pet got lost would you want your city, town, etc. to have a safe place to keep or hold your pet until rescued? I know I definately would! I hope that someday all cities, towns etc. will have a safe place to keep lost pets, injured animals, etc. but until then the few available overcrowded shelters will be bursting with animals/pets. Why don't all cities, towns etc. have a safe place for animals? A lot of people have complained personally to me, (I do my best to help rescue animals), that they do not know what to do when they find a lost pet, or know where to take an animal to be rescued that is safe! Most do not even know that state facilities immediately kill feral cats, squirrels etc., and most would be horrified and angry to find out that an animal they were trying to rescue was killed. If every town had a safe haven to hold all animals/pets, until they can be rescued, (by their owners or picked up by the proper rescuers) given emergency medical care, or just retured to their appropiate homes, or to the wild areas they belong in, there would be a lot less animals in shelters, or being killed in state run facilities where they kill all feral animals! We need to ask President Obama to pass new laws requiring all cities, towns, etc. to have a safe no kill haven for animals-that does not kill any animals, where they can be given food and shelter and a warm safe place to sleep! Our nation needs to evolve quickly to finally stop all suffering of innocent animals and pets, and we can finally become a nation of animal protecters! Please ask President Obama to get the ball rolling, let's all start something great, make history, and start doing something to stop all animal and pet abuse, stress, and unnessesary deaths, and let's do it the green way, building green shelters also create jobs for americans and helps animals too! Dear President Obama, As a concerned citizen, a pet owner, animal /pet rescuer, I am asking for your help to pass new laws concerning the welfare of all animals and pets in the United States by making sure that all cities, towns, etc, have a safe haven/facility where they can be safe, given medical attention, food, and a warm bed, until they can be rescued, returned to their natural habitiat, proper owner, etc. It's so important to stop all the stress/abuse of overcrowded shelters, caregivers, wild animals and pets! We can build green shelters/havens, give americans jobs, and become a nation of animal/pet protecters! This is my cat Samantha's final wish-
