APHIS: Lolita's tank is too small, enforce your own rules!

APHIS - the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) is part of the US Agricultural department and is responsible for the welfare of animals in captivity in the US.

APHIS regulations say that Lolita's tank in Miami Seaquarium needs to be 48 feet across. Lolita's tank is only 38 feet across, which means that her tank size is illegal!

Lolita spends her days on her own in a tank that is far too small for her. Killer whales are meant to roam free and are not suitable for a life in captivity. It is wrong and cruel to take these animals from the wild, from their families and keep them in small concrete tanks for human entertainment.

It is time to let Lolita go! It is time APHIS enforces it's own rules and shut the killer whale show down! It is time to give Lolita a chance to live again and start the process of returning her home!
