Boycott Marriage to Support Equal Marriage Rights

We, the undersigned, represent a portion of straight Americans who support equal marriage rights, and who refuse to sit on the sideline while the rights of others are being violated.  We believe it is wrong to enjoy rights that have not been evenly granted, and believe that the most powerful message we can send our justices and legislature is to decline those rights on the basis of their inequitable distribution.

We are signing this petition of sacrifice, committing to forego any form of legally recognized marriage until federal and state law grants equal marriage rights to all Americans.
