WE BELIEVE in the continued existence of Sara's Sanctuary. Our mission is to help and care for abandoned, abused and disabled animals in KING COUNTY, Washington.
WE BELIEVE that our community needs a resource like Sara's Sanctuary for animals that have nowhere else to go and are typically euthanized simply because of the lack of options for a lifetime home.
WE BELIEVE that we serve a vital role in our community and should have strong support on state, county and city levels. For the past 12 years we have been a refuge for animals that had nowhere else to go. Sara's Sanctuary is a no-kill refuge, equipped and experienced to deal with animals that other organizations will not take.
WE BELIEVE that we should have the same support as animal shelters, who can only pick up and then only temporarily hold the unwanted animals. We are the place that animal shelters call when they need permanent homes for these animals.
