Make Michael Jackson's Birthday A National Holiday!

Michael Jackson was more than a artist. He was a humanitarian. A good person with a great soul. A devoted father, brother, son, uncle and friend to everyone. He tried so much to make the world a better place for everyone. He has donated over $300 Million to several charities over the last 30 years and has set world records for helping as much as he has. He is undoubtedly one of the most selfless people that has ever graced our lives and will forever be an angel. Now that we are that in the light of his untimely death, we, the Michael Jackson fans, ask that we honor and cherish this man, who has taken every step to change the world, break down color barriers, show that anything is possible, spread love and positivity through music and his actions. We ask that you sign this petition to make Michael Jackson's Birthday a National Holiday because he has done so much for us just as Martin Luther King Jr. By signing this petition, we are stating how much of a wonderful man Michael was, to the point where the children of the future can learn who he was and what he was about by celebrating this holiday that was his birthday (August 29th).
