This petition is opposed to the LEP amendment-E21 that allows buildings of up to 20 stories in the centre of Dee Why.
The current LEP allows for a 6 stories building and the proposed LEP would allow for a building for up to 20 stories. The petition also supports a Bus/T3 lane heading north and south along Pittwater Road.
The proposed 20 storey building at 69m will be taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa's highest side at 56.7m and the Sydney Opera House at 65m.

We the undersigned wish to inform you that your ministerial approval and endorsement of an amendment to the WLEP would be in our oppionion, a denial of natural justice to the people of Warringah.
We the undersigned are opposed to allowing buildings of up to 20 stories in the centre of Dee Why. The proposed new locality, E21 allows just that.

Dee Why has a beautiful costal setting and we believe that all development, particularly that of a large scale, should respect and respond to the setting as Dee Why is not Chatswood.
Our opposition is based on:
- Excessive building heights
- Lack of community facilities
- Over-reliance on cars
- Over-emphasis on retail at the expense of other shops in Dee Why.
We are also in favour of a Bus/T3 lane heading north and south along Pittwater Road.
