No Animal Byproducts!

I know all of us here love and truly trust Young Living and their top quality of essential oils and other supplements/products. They have been known to be the best of the best.  So many of us love Gary Young, who is known to love healing animals as he loves healing people (do you remember the story of his horse that was attacked by a cougar?).  Animals mean the world to me; they are helpless, beautiful creatures, so I ask of you to stand up for those who can not stand up for themselves.  Have you ever looked at all the ingredients of each product?  Here is a letter from Product Support telling about the killing of minks (they use mink oil in their ointments) along with a list of all the products that contain animal byproducts (and what these byproducts are):

The minks that we use as the source for our mink oil are minks that are
farm raised for their fur. Humane euthanasia techniques practiced on
fur farms are those recommended by the American Veterinary Medical
Association in the United States and by the Guelph University Research
Facility in Canada. The only method of euthanasia for mink certified
by FCUSA Animal Welfare Committee is pure carbon monoxide or carbon
dioxide bottled gas. The animals are immediately rendered unconscious
and die without stress or pain. Due to the larger physical size of fox,
the American Veterinary Medical Association approves lethal injection as
the most humane method. This is the only method recommended by the FCUSA
Animal Welfare Committee. These are the same methods used by many local
humane shelters. In the United States, the U.S. Department of
Agriculture (USDA) includes fur farming in annual agriculture production
statistics and reports, as do most state agriculture departments. In
Canada, fur farming is licensed and regulated by the provincial
departments of agriculture.

Mink oil is made from the thick fatty layer minks have just under their
skins. This fat is removed from the pelt when the mink is skinned and is
then rendered into mink oil. Mink oil is a source of palmitoleic acid
which possesses physical properties similar to human sebum, therefore
mink oil is used in several medical and cosmetic products.

Unfortunately we do not have an attachable list compiled of which oils
can or cannot be taken internally. We would suggest referring to the
Essential Oil User's Guide which does illustrate this information in
addition to which can be used topically and aromatically for the single
oils. Please also be aware that those oils which can be used internally
will state the information on the bottle label as well as feature a
small white supplement fact box on the label. This supplement fact box
is required to be featured on those products which can be taken
internally. If this box does not appear we would not suggest using the
product for internal use. If you are questioning individual oils please
be sure to let us know and we would be happy to locate this information
for you.

There are so many wonderful essential oils and organic carrier oils to use instead of killing minks.  There is just no true need, in my eyes, to have them killed.  As far as the use of gel tabs and the cost of them being more expensive, why not have Young Living offer both?  If enough of us speak up, they will listen to our pleas.  If you don%u2019t care if animals are hurt or killed, then you don%u2019t have to contact Young Living or sign this petition; it%u2019s a choice only you can make.  I sincerely hope and pray that you will please join us to save animal%u2019s lives, and to better Young Living (did we ever think that was possible?  The company is so great already)!  My heart was broken when I realized what some things Young Living is using, so I hope enough of us speak up to save those who can not save themselves!  Thank you.
