       We are concern community citizens who are former band member of Eastside High School.

       Our mission is to help educate students through a comprehensive curriculum, by developing their quality of perception by fostering the acquisition of musical skills. Please join us in supporting the leaders of tomorrow by ensuring the stability of music in our school today.

       This letter is generated from our vantage point as former music students, and community members who sincerely believe in the artistic value of every student in school system. We are interested in seeing the development of that human quality cultivated to its fullest potential. If we are to ensure a balanced education for our pupils, then we are obliged to offer a balanced curriculum for their study.

Here are our concerns:

·         What is the administration direction surrounding the music program at EHS?

·         Is there a 3 to 5 year strategic plan for the music program at Eastside High School?

·         How will students be able to benefit from the music program with the future   course scheduling plans?  {Scheduling}

·         Is the Music director involved or aware of the direction/strategic plan?

         With all of the changes and budget cut going on throughout our district, there has been silence about the music program at Eastside High School. This silence we feel is a sign to dismantle the Music Program at Eastside High School.        Support Eastside High School Music Program
