Save Our California Public Schools

When most teachers & parents would like to see the public schools conform to the class size limits, increase teacher pay to attract more teachers, and repair older facilities, the governor is proposing an across the board 10% cut.
 
At this moment some teachers are receiving notices that they will be laid off. Class sizes will increase & student performance will suffer. The larger the class, the more time the teacher must waste on behavior and the less time invested in your child's education.

We stood by silently when the lotto money replaced school funds instead of adding onto school funds, as we were led to believe. PTA's raising money for textbooks, teachers chipping in for toilet paper, and now another 10%.
