Save Our Strays!!! Alabama and around the world!!!

I want this petition to be an eye opener that Alabama along with many other states are not enforcing their duties to protect animals. Why do we have animal control if they don't do anything?!?
"We the undersigned" have a message to say!!! There have been three strays living under an abandoned business in Sylacauga, Alabama. I have been told by the animal shelter face-to-face that "I will go as soon as I can and bring them to our facility." That was two weeks ago and the three dogs are still there.
Myself and a few other residents have been bringing them food and water every day but they need a home!!! We cannot afford to take care of them forever! I am a 19 year old female who has taken pitty on these three dogs. Sadly, there are thousands more just like them.
Out of those three dogs, there is an old golden retriever that has been hit by a car, a black and white dog that seem young and scared, and a middle aged golden retriever mix that is so hand shy it runs from everyone. The dog who was hit has been very sweet and after feeding him by hand every day and watching out for him as much as possible, he is able to walk and seems to be healing. However, there are so many more dogs that are going to die tonight because no one cares!!! Can't we take time to care?!?
