Save Wells College

We, the undersigned, petition the Board of Trustees of Wells College to engage the following actions in response to the college's current fiscal crisis:
1. Immediately engage a search for a new college president;
2. Cease cuts to core liberal arts programs and faculty;
3. Stop implementation of administrative restructuring that will consolidate power at the college into fewer hands;
4. Halt the implementation of costly new programs in athletics and business;
5. Cut inappropriately expensive non-core budget areas such as hospitality businesses and consultants.
