Stop islamic efforts to control  free speech

Counter muslims' wish to control speech and/or drawings of so-called prophet Muhammad.  Why don't muslims start destroying all old persan books which show many representations of him?  If there is a Supreme Being he created all of us and surely not so we could kill or torture each other.
