For years the residents of Clay County have been forced to use Frontier as their telephone carrier. For years we have had to deal with poor customer service, poor line maintainance and ever increasing costs.
Frontier can basically charge us and do to us what they want because we do not have a alternate phone carrier that we can use. If we want telephone service then we are stuck using Frontier.
I am asking for the citizens of Clay County to help me in getting 250 signatures that I will personally deliver to Verizon. Verizon offers better phone service, lower high speed costs and overall better customer service. You can check out their website at

Some Clay County citizens already have verizon but do not have verizon dsl because Verizon doesn't know the amount of people that would be willing to take their service over Frontier. Well if you fall in the catagory, then please sign the petition, they will not know how many customers that are interested and will pay unless we let them know!
It's time us citizens have a say in our phone service and with some competion for service, Frontier may be more cooperative in the future.
