We must educate our school children about the African Holocaust and the affects it has on our communities. They need to understand our factual history year round and not just during Black History Month!
School children need to be taught about the African Holocaust and about the African existence in America year round and not just during the month of February. They need to understand the plight of their ancestors and why their communities are in the states they are in. They should not be forced to ask why after they are exposed to the ugliness associated with racism. Teach them that they are important and that what has happened in the past does not determine who they are and what they can do in their futures. They must be prepared!
ALLOW ME TO BRIEFLY EXPLAIN THE TRIANGULAR TRADE:
The Triangular trade was most prevalent during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It was the importing and exporting of slaves, cash crops, and manufactured goods among West Africa, the Caribbean, American colonies, and the European colonial powers, with the northern colonies of British North America, especially New England, sometimes taking over the role of Europe. It was and still is one of the worst atrocities that the world has ever seen by the conquering of an entire continent of people for the purposes of greed and power. It is the cause of the genetic imprints/traces that plague our communities with multigenerational issues today. It was something that stripped us all of our identities and forced us into a world where most of us don%u2019t know who we are or where we originated from other than the great continent of Africa. Most of all it is the cause of a brown world where there is no true race of people, which is something that most people are not conscious enough to understand. DNA does not lie!!!
BREAKING THE MULTIGENERATIONAL ISSUES THAT AFFECTS OUR AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITIESIn order for the cycle to stop the present generation must be willing to change their behaviors, not change themselves, but their behaviors in order for the cycle not to continue. Although we have overcome a lot of the obstacles within our communities, I still see a lack of motivation, lack of self-esteem, lack of self-worth, learned helplessness and most of all inappropriate cognition's of self. We have just started accepting our natural beauty for what it is. For years we have had to deal with the long hair, blue eyes, stick figure, and thin nose syndrome and that our features were ugly. But with change came the fact that wide hips and behinds, thick legs, and wide noses were our natural beauty and we are a beautiful people but acceptance had to come first. For years I fought with my self image that I was not thin enough but no matter how much I exercised and ran, no matter how tight and developed everything was, I was still a big girl in my eyes because I wanted to be a stick figure. The multigenerational affects has cause generations of misconceptions of who we are as a people; that we are not chattel or livestock as we were listed as being. Our taskmasters planned this and the Willie Lynch Letter states how to make us inferior for a lifetime and the affects of the syndrome is still prevalent in this day and age. There are those who refute that this document exists as are those that refute that the King Alfred Plan existed but we also have proof of that experiment through Colonization within the American system.
COLONIZATION AND OPPRESSION
You won't find this in history books anywhere because I've looked.....I'm referring in particular to the projects that were built in Newark, NJ via a project called Colonization. Its purpose in a nutshell was this: put them on top of each other and let them kill each other off. I knew some people from those projects that spoke of people flying past their windows after either being thrown off of the roof or out of another window...One of the precincts in that area was and is still called the 4th precinct with some of the most racist blues in it that I've ever seen in my life. They have no respect for anyone now so I couldn't imagine what those poor people went through because they were closed down. Now from what I've seen, there were other projects introduced in other states and cities including in Princeton, NJ (did anyone know that Princeton, NJ had a project and that area also has a lot of gang activity). Some still exist and others have been torn down. As if that wasn't enough, drugs were then introduced into this area. Another form of genocide that was government introduced. Unfortunately, they didn't expect that there would be huge Mercedes coming down there from the suburbs to purchase as well. Drugs are a pandemic within all communities and not only minorities get hooked. The selling of these drugs is an issue as well and I don't consider this black on black crime but based on survival of the fittest. Everyone was going down and there was a way to make money and they took advantage of it. No, I don't agree with it but it happened and history has proven that we were used for profit and once we thought we were free, we then had no further use, therefore find a way to get rid of them. Slavery was real, and the affects of it still permeates society and the affects are what's plaguing us today as a people. I heard terms such as crabs pulling each other down in the barrel to try and get out yourself; but think about it, if there was a bullet coming and it had the possibility of hitting anyone in sight, would you dodge that bullet or jump in front of someone else to save them?
TAKING BACK OUR IDENTITIES ONE STEP AT A TIME
We as a people have suffered for years with who we are and now it is time that we take back our identities. No more of the dislike that we have for ourselves. No more confusion as to who we are. We were the alpha and will be the omega, the original black man to walk upon this earth. Our skin keeps us beautiful for years and our features are flawless and unyielding. We are a people who were put on this earth to withstand many things and that extra something that we carry with us at all times is a special gift and is unique to each of us. Our communities are suffering and our children are being socially promoted in order for their lives to be extended a little longer in the educational system. There are changes that need to be made that must start with us first. Everyone must assimilate to the new us.....We's Free!!!! And our lives will be made better if we first look in the mirror at me! WE HAVE SUFFERED FOR TOO LONG AND STILL ARE STRUGGLING WITH RACISM IN AMERICA TODAY!!!!
TELL OUR CHILDREN THE TRUTH AND NOT JUST IN FEBRUARY! IT TAKES A LIFETIME TO UNDERSTAND AND PREPARE THEM FOR WHAT THEY MIGHT ENCOUNTER IN THE REAL WORLD!
TELL THEM THE TRUTH!
INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE!!!!
