Demand a Black/Latinx Student Union Now!

The Black/Latinx population at Eastern is less than 20%. Over 2000 students, and we have no representatives of our racial background in student council, and next year we will have no (non-freshman) staff reporters on the Voyager. Representation is crucial to our ability to articulate for ourselves and have our needs met.

Students of all backgrounds could attend and discuss issues pertinent to us, free refreshments would be provided, and we would host fundraisers  in order to raise money for future trips.
