The issue and concern that has come up upon our community, there's no stop or cross walk on a high speed street. Now kids after school walk home and are crossing the street where I understand s there's no stop or crosswalk. Yet it is not fair in making pedestrians walk up a block just to be access to walk across the street.
Now on beech is a long street and sequoia middle school, students walk down sequoia and are trying to cross beech st. Yet never given a chance by vehicles because their always speeding down beech.
Now if the city would provide a cross walk system there .
It would give safety in my community and future generations the ability to feel safer and allowed to get home safer. Rather then students almost getting ranned over plus a ticket on their hand , when to me that sounds like a horrible day. Also in the safety of our drivers & pedestrians, kids and teens, i propose we have a cross walk light system for our friendly neighborhood. So in behalf of our community and neighborhood we would hope to gather together in making the Inland Empire safer for our future generations and you decide for the safety for our community and our city. Help us provide the safety for parents, children, teens and most importantly our neighborhood in today and future generations .
