I believe horses shouldn't be slaughtered if they aren't good enough for the track. Rehome them or put them into a different sport the Hunter Jump or dressage or something. Ban horse Slaughtering. Just because a horse isnt good enough for the track doesn't mean you need to kill them. They have their entire lives ahead of them.
if you've seen videos of horse racing you'd know. I've seen so many messed up things in the horse racing industry I dont wanna hear that their breed for it. They get pushed and pushed. And if they get hurt they get drugged so they dont feel anything when they have to race believe me I've done my research. I've seen a lot of stuff. I've seen Thoroughbreds break their legs running races because they get pushed to much. Do some research. 馃槨馃檮 you know what that bit is doing inside the horses mouth? And how much pain their in? Do you know how hard they get whipped? They say race horses have the best life. Well their all wrong. Watch some videos and see what actually goes on in the horse racing industry. also when a thoroughbred is to old or not good enough to race it gets sent to the slaughterhouse for meat. People only care about the money. They dont give one damn about the horse. Sorry if I sound like a jerk but I know my Horse Racing, Show Jumping, Barrel Racing, you name it I know it. I know my horses. I know pretty much everything with Equine things. The Equine community isnt all that amazing as you think. Hundreds of horses get sent to the slaughterhouse everyday for what not being good enough to race? So what. Sorry you aren't making your thousands of dollars you want. Sell the horse to a family that wants a nice horse to have in their family.
