Later School Start Times for Smarter Students

The kids of today are our future. With earlier start times, lack of adequate recess and/or NO recess, kids are becoming stagnant, falling asleep before school even begins. We are waking before our brain is at functioning capacity, and we are tired. We are tired on the bus We are tired in class. We lack the sleep and physical activity necessary to lead the way for our future generations.
With this petition, it is our desire to modify the school start times, giving us what we need to succeed. SLEEP! And kids are leaving so early, some are forced to choose between sleep and breakfast and many kids end up going to school hungry. We need to make a change. Our future depends on it.

Following are the start times of the Weymouth High School and both Middle Schools. Busses arrive 30-40 minutes earlier.
