Please sign my petition and find justice for this poor animal and hopefully get the person who did it locked up and the key thrown away.
A 2 year old vixen was found dead in a garden after being shot in the head and died a slow painful death.
The body of the two-year-old vixen - which had been adopted by families in Calside, Paisley – was found at the rear of a house just feet from a snowman which children had made days earlier.
It has been regularly fed by residents and their kids since it was a cub and had become friendly and trusting.
The fox had been shot elsewhere and while fighting for its life crawled into this garden where it felt safe.
Someone who has said that they think the fox was killed by a shot from a powerful .22 rifle.
John Robins of Animal Concern Advice Line (ACAL) said: “This poor animal was tame to the point of being almost a pet. The thug who killed it is one sick individual.
One mum of two, who didn’t want to be named, said: “I’ve seen this fox and I’ve heard kids talking about how tame is was. Obviously it was too trusting and someone took advantage of that.”

My opinion: foxes didn't choose the type of life they live, the way they get treated is terrible. This person shouldn't have had this gun in the first place, ban fox hunting, ban hunting, ban air guns, find this evil person and makesure they pay for what they have done. to do that to any animal it is evil and they shouldn't get away with it.

If you care for all animals and creatures, please sign my petition. I love all animals and care for their well being. I would like to see the person who did this locked up and punished. This poor animal lived a short life but in its life was harmless and was loved by the community. The person who did this should own up or be found, why was someone in a neighbourhood with kids and families on a cold winters night with an air gun? this was uncalled for. I really would like to see something done about this.
