Animals are not lab experiments

I have witnessed animals being used in labs; they are cruelly mistreated my those who perform these unnecessary experiments; they are tortured, abused beyond painful limits; their agony is my agony, their suffering is my suffering, they feel each injection, seizure, each bolt driven into their weakened bodies. They are given pills to begin this inhuman treatment. They weep, they feel alone, deserted. They have never felt a tender touch, nor love; many have never seen the sun or breathed fresh air. Then they are discarded as if they were toxic waste matter.
