Our dog disappeared and we have been searching for her and with the cold weather and the snow we expected the worst and that we would not find her. Days later the Estevan Humane Society posted a photo calling her Rose and asking for donations for her surgeries. They had the dog since November.1st and did not post photos of her to try and locate her family or to even see if she had one. They waited for 72 hours then posted the photo. It wasn't until a friend seen the photo and informed me that our Jewel was there. Once I contacted them all they told me was I can not get her back because the time period has passed but I can fill out an adoption form. I'm sorry that during the time of searching for her and being stressed and worried that we didn't think to ask if she was at the humane society means we lose our dog. Please help me and my family get our dog back we have five kids who miss her very much. What the humane society did isn't right. They should have posted a photo and tried to find her owners. They had no issue posting photos of other animals that were brought in after her. We want our dog home.
