To Obama: Bring in the Shell Supertankers NOW

We the undersigned recognize that the BP Oil Spill Disaster is now the worst oil spill disaster in the history of the United States. Shell Oil owns multiple Supertankers used in Saudi oil spills that can be used to clean up this disaster immediately.

The Shell Oil Supertankers have the ability to both intake and discharge liquids in vast quantities with huge pumps. The supertankers could simply suck in seawater and oil simultaneously--they can hold millions of barrels--and when full, they could discharge oil at a port into tanks where they could separate oil from water.

We implore President Barack Obama to bring the Shell Oil Supertankers in NOW! Once the supertankers make it to to the port, water can be treated and discharged, and oil can either be used or destroyed.  Start the remediation of this Gulf Disaster immediately and take whatever steps may be necessary to stop the rupture and the leakage of millions of gallons of oil into our waterways.
