Every single day thousands of animals are tortured and killed in tests. The Mars bars candy company funded cruel experiments in which mice were fed an ingredient in the candy and forced to swim in a tiny pool filled with water and white paint. These innocent mice needed to find a platform to avoid drowning, later on, to be killed and dissected. We have the privilege of living our life free, with our own choices. And animals should too. They do not deserve the harsh, cruel torture of being tested on for a candy bar. They need to have every right we have. They deserve to be in their natural habitat instead of claustrophobic cages.
Is it really worth it? Could you really take a bite out of a mars bar knowing that thousands of animals were killed just for that? I know I couldn't.
Speaking behalf of my fellow 8th grade peers, we are not satisfied with the thought of innocent animals being tortured in cold factories, never seeing sunlight. If you aren't satisfied either, please sign this petition to help raise awareness.
