PUNISH THE DEED, NOT THE BREED

Vancouver, WA residents are proposing a pit bull ban after an attack last week.  It is not fair to punish an entire breed for isolated incidents.  It is also too difficult to establish which dogs are "pit bulls" and which are not.  What about mixes?  How much pit bull is too much?  What about people who already have beloved family pets that are pit bulls?
