Say No to an Earlier Start Time for CES and CMS!!

The BOE is proposing that in order to save money on the buses, we start CMS and CES a 1/2 hour earlier.  Studies have proven that children with less sleep can develop the following negative side effects:
.lack of concentration  .decrease in critical thinking  .memory lapses
.difficulty undertaking tasks requiring planning and completing tasks
.decrease in divergent or creative thinking. 

If you feel 7:30 (CMS) and 8:00 (CES) is too early for your child to start their school day, please sign this petition and pass it on.  Wilton has already adopted a later school start time with successful results and Weston will be implementing it too.
