Tell The Canadian Oil Industry to Claim Responsibility for Health Problems

A recent report for Alberta's energy regulator shows that the heathcare community is hesistant to make links between health problems and the oil industry. While it is a common belief that petrochemical emissions lead to health problems, many doctors are hesitant to attribute the cause of a person's symptoms to these emissions.

Doctors and medical labs are hesitant to link symptoms to energy emissions due to a fear of having major energy companies come after them.  In order to eliminate this problem, it would be neccessary for the oil industry to take responsibility for health problems and symptoms caused by emisions.  Sign this petition to encourage oil companies to research the possibility of emissions causing health problems, and encourage them to work with members of the healthcare industry to diagnose and treat these problems.
