Homework should not be apart of a students daily curriculum.

•On average, a student attends school for 6-8 hours a day. Adding homework to a students school day, increases their learning to 10-12 hours. In the work force, employees average an 8 hour day.
•Students have an increased responsibility for sports and extra curricular actvities, which gives them less down time with themselves and their friends and family. With homework added to this, it causes stress, anxiety and sleep deprivation.
•The most important reason why homework should be banned is because throughout the years, research has shown that homework has not improved a students engagement or academic performance.
