Allow "Virginity Rocks" Apparel in Wood River High School

This morning, I was told to remove my sweatshirt that states "Virginity Rocks." My name is Salvatore Johnson and I believe it is wrongful to misinterpret this slogan. It's purpose is to promote abstinence and the message to the youth of society is meant to be "don't have sex kids, teenage pregnancy is a serious problem." I was told that the school does not want to promote any sexual references and that's why I should not wear this sweater, but in my defense, this is not promoting sexual references in any way shape or form, and in fact, it is contradicting that statement and rather promoting abstinence. Thank you
