On the News...

On the news 2

Imagine you're working on the papers in the university. In the common area in the dorm, you're extremely tired of working on papers and decide to take a little nap. Soon, you wake up by the police, questioning you. That's what happened to Lolade Siyonbola, a black student at Yale University.

White Yale Student, Sarah Braasch, decided to call the cops on her, for sleeping in the common area in the dorm. Seriously?? I'm a student at the University of Utah, and I have been taking a sleep in the common area in the dorm so many times, and there was no problem. It's not against the law, and it's not a criminal offense.

"I have every right to call the police. You cannot sleep in that room." Sarah Braasch says on the video. In addition, according to the grio.com and daily news, she is known as a lover of hate speech and believes racism as silly. This proves that she is thinking herself as a superior to others, and she is such a disgusting racist student. Police admonished her for the call, but currently, that's it.

According to Lolade Siyonbola's Facebook post, Sarah also called cops on her friend a few months ago, who got lost in the building. This proves that this is not a first time that she used police personally, and this is unforgivable.

Police are there for helping citizens in the trouble, and making the society peaceful by solving crimes, not for people who are doing something legal and ordinary. By calling cops for a pointless reason, Sarah Braasch endangered one student's life, wasted police's time, and used police to fight her battles and win arguments with people she has a problem with.

I'm Asian-American, and I fear I could be targeted and cops come on me for doing something ordinary. I fear someone will call the cops on me for some ridiculous reason.
A university student who doesn't respect others and acts racist doesn't deserve a spot in the university. That's why I'm demanding Yale University to expel Sarah Braasch for her racist views, wasting police's time, and putting a life of the black student in danger.

I demand Yale University to expel Sarah Braasch for her despicable, racist, and disgusting action. Sign now to tell Yale University that the world will never tolerate any kind of hate and racism.

This matter has been referred to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences for further review. The dean will review the incident and consider next steps. However, information concerning individual students is governed by federal laws relating to the privacy of student educational records. It is not appropriate or, in fact, legal for the university to discuss any action publicly.
-Statement from Yale Facebook. We need more pressure on Yale, and make sure this never happens again.
