We, the citizens of Hampton Roads, residents and property owners in the Buckroe Beach area feel that allowing golf cart travel throughout the Buckroe Beach park, First Street and surrounding neighborhoods will positively impact the area's safety and community image within the entire Hampton Roads area. It will support the longterm goal of making sure Buckroe remains a desirable, residential community. It will insure that residents and visitors can easily access all the public beaches and Buckroe businesses, without increasing undesirable car traffic. This improved image will serve to attract future home owners, renters, and weekly vacationers, as well as, regular patrons for the many small and struggling business' that serve our neighborhoods. We feel that integrating golf carts as viable transportation in our neighborhood supports the original vision laid forth in the Buckroe Master Plan. What is good for Buckroe Beach is good for Hampton!!
