Rebuild Waurn Ponds Skatepark

The growth in Waurn Ponds, Grovedale, Hightom, Belmont, Armstrong Creek and surrounding suburbs, the expansion of the Shopping centre, Leisurelink, the Library have outgrown the dated park built in the late 80's.

The Bowl and street section are in desperate need of rebuilding. The Vert ramp also has been damaged and needs resurfacing. What we need is a Skatepark to match St Kilda or the new Skatepark in Nobel Park to hold events, competitions and cater for the number of kids wanting to use it.
