Animal Cruelty: Jailed Bosnian Pigeon Needs Freedon and Representation

A Bosnian pigeon has been jailed on charges of drug smuggling. Guards at Zenica prison noticed that four inmates became %u201Cvisibly intoxicated%u201D shortly after the pigeon landed on their windowsill. Officials now believe that the bird, a trained pet of one of the inmates, flew 40 miles to the town of Tuzla and returned with bags of heroin tied to its feet. %u201CWe do not know what to do with the pigeon,%u201D said Deputy Warden Josip Pojavnik. %u201CBut for the time being it will remain behind bars.%u201D

This petition is to stop governments mistreating animal life. This is more than animal cruelty. This is unfair treatment towards animal life. This is government abuse of power. This pigeon had no choice, he was trained. It is cruel to think a government can not run their prisons securely but can better monitor wildlife. This pigeon has had no legal representation and no activist groups have claimed him. Please see the urgency to this abuse of power. Help save this pigeon.
