Stop deadly prescription drugs and embrace complementary healing methods

In Dr Peter Gøtzsche latest book, “Deadly Medicine and Organised Crime”, evidence of corruption in the Pharmaceutical industry is exposed to the public. His book also plants a strong argument on how our health system has failed globally – according to Dr. Gøtzsche, prescription drugs are the third leading cause of death after heart disease.

Indeed a thought provoking title for a book, but that is what it sometime takes to get the attention on such a controversial and serious subject – the question is if Gøtzsche evidence-based book is the building block to a better health system?

In context, the international code of medical ethics applies to all parties involved. In particular, it is time for the global pharmaceutical companies and their associates to come clean – the medical community has a responsibility to promote the highest standards of ethical behaviour and duty of care.

It is also time for our politicians who govern our health system to endorse further research into clinical trials in areas of complementary medicine – without drugs and deadly side-effects.

So where do we go from here – as a certified practitioner of Reconnective Healing I encourage the medical community and indeed our doctors to take more interest in complementary medicine and approaches.

There are many different ways to achieve balance and wellbeing…
