Seismic blasting releases incredibly loud blasts into the ocean searching for oil every ten seconds that can disorient, hurt, or even kill aquatic life. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is set to release five permits for seismic testing with a 30 day comment period that ends July 6th.
