CRIMINALIZING THE KU KLUX KLAN AS A TERRORIST GROUP

What is the definition of an act of terror?
Terrorism is commonly defined as violent acts (or the threat of violent acts) intended to create fear (terror), perpetrated for an economic, religious, political, or ideological goal, and which deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (e.g., neutral military personnel or civilians). Today, it seems incredible that an organization so violent, so opposed to the American principles of justice and equality, could twice in the nation’s history have held such power. The Ku Klux Klan —
one of the nation’s first terrorist groups.
Today it is a known and proven fact that Ku Klux Klan has been hiding in the police department behind the badge, on the bench as judge behind a black robe, in the senate with a suit, tie, and a smile. We know the Tea Party is riddled with members of the KKK, and they have passed law, and passed bills that threaten and intimidate populations of people in America and the world. From the position of judge, police officer, sheriff, president etc. the KKK has terrorized the citizens of the United States and we are asking to make it law, that the KKK is a criminal terrorist organization, and cannot hold any positions of authority in the United States, state and federal included.
