Get the law changed on forced adoptions

I have recently lost my beautiful grandchildren to forced adoption and I want to change the law. I passed all the health checks, home checks and DBS checks so everything was in place for my babies to come live with me, their grandad and our children. But the judge decided to say they could not come live with us because in the past I was in a domestic violent relationship. We find that so unfair as I left that relationship 17 years ago and have moved on with my life. I have a loving partner who took on my older children and we now have 3 more beautiful children together. I feel that I have been punished for a past I left behind all them years ago. To me they have punished my grandchildren to which is totally unacceptable to me. My family have been ripped apart and left heartbroken 💔 I want to get this petition to the prime minister to see if we can get the help we need to get our babies where they belong. If we can't manage to get them back I want to at least get them to acknowledge the fact they can't use everyone's past against them. If I can help someone else in this situation it will make me happy. Social services are supposed to be there to help you not tear families apart.
