Declare Snails to Be Protected Animals and Encourage Awareness to Them

They are small, gentle, sensitive, highly vulnerable and have no defense against us.

This sensitive and gentle creatures, who are pure goodness and never do anybody any harm, are being constantly threatened due to the fact, that they cross paths, where unaware and careless humans rush on, without even bothering themselves to look down.

Aside from that, as unthinkable and inconceivable as it is, there are certain... humans on this world, who actually murder these nice and gentle beings intentionally!, for this reason or that... the mere thought about it breaks my heart.

This is unbearable situation, which must not continue. Thus, we demand to declare ALL kinds of Snails to be Protected Animals worldwide, which are legally defended from any harm, and any intentional harm done to them shall be a severe criminal offense. To start media campaigns, all around the world, to increase human awareness to the gentle and sensitive creatures at their feet. To start a "Global Snail Day", where all media and schools shall teach of Snails' merits and encourage human awareness to their presence.
