We, the undersigned resident of Nantucket, fully support ACK Natural's proposal for town approval of a second license for a co-located medical and adult-use, state-of-the-art marijuana dispensary and cultivation center. ACK Natural is led by a skilled team with strong ties to Nantucket, with more than 50 combined years of living here and visiting the island—contributing generously to community needs and programs. The team, as noted in its RFQ, has first-hand experience in starting, operating and investing in the cannabis industry in Massachusetts, across the nation, and globally. As Island residents, the team understands and respects the importance of preserving Nantucket's culture and its security, while directly supporting local initiatives that will address the opioid epidemic and maintain Nantucket's natural beauty. We urge the town to approve ACK Natural's license request for safe and secure adult access to medical grade cannabis.
