Recognize that 'Terrorism Has No Religion, Race, Gender or Nationality'

We as a global community would like a clear dissociation between terrorism and religion, race, gender and nationality. Given the example of Islam, the governments and medias labelling of extremist groups as 'Islamist terrorist organizations', has taken the onuses of these criminals actions away from the perpetrators and instead placed the blame upon Islam. The media have failed to recognize that Terrorism has no religion, race, gender or nationality, but is an act of crime. Phrases like 'Islamist Terrorists' have allowed right wing groups to blame Islam for the actions of a few, hence attacking Mosques and innocent citizens.
