RECOMMENDATION: In light of her continued service to the people of the United States, we recommend Zarina Birnbacher be granted re-entry into the U.S.
DISCUSSION: The sole purpose of Zarina's visit to the United States was to participate in educational and self-development courses offered by Choice Center Leadership University, which seeks to develop leaders of character through experiential emotional intelligence training. In just three short weeks, Zarina emerged as a confident and capable leader who has a passion for serving the greater good, specifically, through female empowerment. Zarina has committed to training with the Embody Love Movement, a rapidly growing non-profit whose mission is "to empower girls and women to celebrate inner beauty, commit to kindness, and contribute meaningful change in the world." As an educator for the Movement, Zarina will be responsible for transforming the lives of young women by conducting workshops that encourage emotional expression, expose media myths, value kindness over criticism, and teach self-worth and purpose. As a former Captain in the U.S. Army, I can testify that empowering our young leaders with these skills is critical to our nation's well-being and success. Zarina's passion, dedication, and selflessness are essential to this mission and serve as an inspiration to others. It is imperative that she be granted re-entry into the United States.
