Raise The Tax On Cigarettes

Indiana has the lowest tax rate on cigarettes and one of the highest rates of smokers in the country. Though a large majority of smokers will not quit smoking if the cost of cigarettes go up, but there will be a small percentage that will. The revenue raised by the increase can be used for infrastructure, smoking cessation, and anti-smoking educational programs.
